Festive spirit is in full swing
Children will be smiling across the Clay Cross area this Christmas after sixth formers donated a huge bundle of advent calendars and gifts to the local food bank.
A total of 108 advent calendars along with gift bags and toys were collected by students and staff at Tupton Hall Sixth Form and donated to Clay Cross Food Bank before the start of December.
Head of Sixth Form Mrs Charlotte Burton said of the collective effort: "I can't even begin to describe this - our students and staff are incredible."
Another donation drive is currently under way at Tupton Hall School as part of the Redhill Academy Trust's Festive Food Bank Collection. Academies across the Trust are collecting for their local food banks, to put food on the tables of those in need this Christmas.
