Tom is British Champ

A busy few weeks have culminated in a Gold medal for super swimmer Tom Trueman. 

Tom, 15, competed at the British National Championships in Tollcross, Glasgow, from 24 - 28 July where he won Gold with the 2 x 200m relay team, making him a British champion. He also swam the 4 x 100m relay event, missing out on Bronze by just 100th of a second!

In his other events he came away with the following GB rankings: 13th at 50m freestyle, 12th at 100m freestyle and 11th at 200m freestyle.

Tom then went on to swim at the English Championships which were held at Ponds Forge in Sheffield. Here he swam the 400m freestyle and finished 8th in England!

Tom's base is at Sutton Swimming Club. His elite training is done through NOVA Centurion club and he trains in Mansfield and Nottingham.
