A spook-tacular Halloween event took over Tupton Hall as the whole school dressed up, baked and donated in aid of local charities Fairplay and Ashgate Hospice.
Many students and staff got involved, with whole departments getting in the spirit, such as the science department dressing in a Harry Potter theme!
At lunchtime a bake sale was held where plenty of spooky sweet treats were on sale. And in the Richard Smith Hall there was a screening of the Simpson's Treehouse of Horrors.
Overall it was a fun-filled day and we managed to raise the huge sum of £1417.15, which is being split evenly between the two chosen charities.
The Sixth Form Student Union, who organised the day, would like to thank all students and staff who got involved and helped such amazing causes.
