A MESSAGE FROM THE SIXTH FORM TEAM

Choosing to continue your studies after GCSEs is a big decision and one that will open doors to future qualifications and employment. It is important to make the right decision about what you would like to study and where.

At Tupton Hall School we offer a lively and very successful Sixth Form for students from a wide variety of different schools. We care about students’ academic and personal development. We are committed to providing a friendly and supportive Sixth Form for our students, in order that everyone may achieve their potential. When deciding on options for Post-16 studies, students should give serious consideration to the following issues:

  • Choosing courses that they have previously enjoyed and in which they have succeeded
  • Certain careers do clearly require subjects at A Level so research these carefully
  • Seek advice from teachers, family and friends
  • Take the time needed to make your decisions
  • Consider all options carefully

This is an important stage in every student’s development and we really believe that Tupton Hall offers the opportunity to develop academically and personally. Alongside the curriculum there are lots of opportunities for students to gain additional qualifications and secure work experience. We have links with local charities and schools, which enable students to volunteer within the local community and secure future careers as teachers, doctors, psychologists and other key professional roles.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if there are any questions.

Kindest Regards

Charlotte Burton - Head of Sixth Form

Jon Leach - Deputy Head of Sixth Form
