Voice in a Million

On Monday 23rd March, the music department took 40 students to sing as part of the Voice In A Million choir at Sheffield City Hall.

The choir of nearly 500 students from schools across the north and midlands were performing together to raise awareness for children in care, fostering and adoption.

After an afternoon rehearsal, the students performed 15 songs with the massed choir, including Fix You, All Of Me, and Don't You Worry Child.

There was also a performance by the Britain's Got Talent stars Bars and Melody which caused great excitement!

The final song, Let It Go, featured soloists from Tupton Hall School, with 15 of our students standing at the front of the stage on microphones. Daisy Hinde, Georgina Marsh, Lois Woodward and Bethan Roper-Jones all had a solo part.

A really exciting and memorable event for all our students!

Music For Youth

On Saturday 21st March, students from Tupton Hall School travelled to Birmingham MAC to perform as part of the Music For Youth regional          Rock and Pop Festival.

They had the chance to perform with their bands on a professional stage alongside other bands from across the country.

Our bands were:

  • Cooke & Carline (Charlie and Lydia)
  • Lost Generation (Abbie, Charlotte, Sam and Lewis)
  • The Tupton Rock and Pop Club

All performed fantastically well and received very positive feedback from       the music mentors at the end of the event.
