Headteacher's Welcome

Thank you for showing an interest in what our school has to offer prospective students, families and members of our community. As a good starting point, the website will provide you with a summary of the vision, ethos, values and organisation that underpin Tupton Hall School.

The choice of a secondary school is an important one for you and your child. As parents we want our children to do well, be safe, healthy and happy throughout their secondary school years. We firmly believe that students achieve their best when they are safe, secure and given individual care and attention.

At Tupton Hall students and staff benefit from first rate facilities, ensuring that learning environments are engaging and well-equipped. ICT provision throughout the school is excellent enabling teaching and learning to be at the cutting edge of innovation and development for our students. As an experienced and highly effective Sports College we are proud of our students’ achievements and the communities that we serve.

Sixth Form facilities are excellent, being based in a dedicated wing of the school. Being so large we are able to offer a wide choice of A Level subjects ensuring that all of our students’ interests and talents are reflected in study opportunities. Our values reflect our ambition for the school and students. We pride ourselves on being outward facing, welcoming students from other schools to be part of this vibrant and exciting place of learning and personal development.

Our well qualified teachers and support staff work together with students and parents to create a formidable team with one common goal - the best possible success for every child.

We passionately believe in building strong partnerships between parents and organisations in the interests of our students’ well-being and learning at school. We are committed to involving parents in all decisions that affect their child's education and learning. We recognise that parents play a vital role in supporting the active development of our students as independent learners and members of the school and wider community.

To understand and appreciate what is outstanding and unique about the school, we would suggest that you contact us and make an appointment to visit. There is a tangible ‘energy’ about the place that is appealing and motivating!
