Exploring Iceland

Exploring Iceland

Y10 Geographers had a fantastic time on a trip to Iceland.

The intrepid explorers visited volcanic craters, geysers, many different waterfalls (even one you can walk behind) and walked the rift valley between the North American plate and Eurasian plate.

The highlight for many was going adventure glacier walking near EyjafjallajökullFor others it was swimming in the Blue Lagoon.

Mrs Young and Mrs Shipley have made photos available for students to download. They are saved in the GCSE Geography folder and will be there until the end of September.
