Year 13 trip organisers
Students in Year 9 & 12 enjoyed a day trip to Stratford-upon-Avon organised by Year 13 Travel & Tourism students.
Travel & Tourism students from Year 13 at Tupton Hall School hosted a trip to the heart of Shakespeare's home town of Stratford-upon-Avon. They took 53 Year 9 and 12 students on a day trip around the market town which is famed for its historic links with Britain's most famous playwright.
The itinerary included a ghostly guided walk and a visit
to the Mechanical Art & Design (MAD) Museum, with the bonus of unexpected
sunshine throughout the fun-filled
Brandon Hoult, a Year 12 student, said:
been both educational and interesting. I loved the range of activities the Year
13s put on and thought the day ran smoothy. I will definitely be returning to
around 3.30pm the coach departed
Stratford, taking a bus full of half asleep students and Shakespeare
souvenirs safely home.
Travel & Tourism tutor Mrs Young, who supervised the day, said: “The
trip has been very successful. All of the Year 13s did a great job and made
sure everyone enjoyed their day… I know I did!”
