A tasty breakfast was served up to students in Year 10 in recognition of their efforts to find a work experience placement.
Yummy morning treats were on offer for the first 75 students from the year group to secure their placement and hand in the relevant school paperwork.
Starting Monday 1 July the Year 10 cohort will do one week of work experience with an employer to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the world of work and all that it entails.
The work experience programme is a very important element of the careers education programme in Year 10. It can help students secure paid employment in the future whilst also allowing them to add key skills to their employment record, that will be of great value as they progress through school and onto higher education, an apprenticeship or employment.
Well done to everyone who has secured their placement so far!
