Tupton Hall student Abbie Jacques, who sadly passed away recently, was remembered at a Chesterfield FC match.
The young Spireites fan, 12, often attended matches with her dad and younger brother.
Fans at the CFC match against Exeter City on Saturday 18 November joined a round of applause after 12 minutes of the match, to mark Abbie's life.
Her dad and brother were invited to present the match ball before kick-off and watched the match with other family members.
A tribute piece to Abbie was also included in the matchday programme and the hashtag #Applause4Abbie was used on Twitter to encourage others the raise awareness.
Andy Knowles, headteacher at Tupton Hall School, Tweeted: "An absolute privilege to share in a wonderful tribute to Abbie Jacques at the Proact Stadium. Dad, Ian and brother Charlie were immensely brave. Rapturous applause at 12 minutes. THS will work together to ensure that Abbie is always remembered by the school."
