Seven years of happy memories were marked by students at Tupton Hall Sixth Form as they left school for the last time ahead of their summer exams.
Emma Johnson and her friends Edward Baker, Emma Dando, Amy Barnett, Rae Griffiths, Anna Stevenson and Tom Stevenson posed for the same uplifting photo in the school grounds in Years 7, 11 and 13.
Emma explained: "We took the first photo in Year 7 and decided to recreate it on our leavers' days in Year 11 and sixth form to see how we've all changed over our time at Tupton Hall School - our heights, haircuts, uniform etc."
"I've absolutely loved my time at school. I've made friends that I know I'll stay in touch with for the rest of my life. I've had lots of opportunities at Tupton Hall, especially through PE. All of the girls in the photo have taken part in rounders, netball, athletics and cricket at county level, and regional badminton. Rae and I have also volunteered as silver, gold and platinum young ambassadors for North East Derbyshire School Sports Partnership."
Emma will sit exams in PE, Product Design and Psychology this summer and has also completed the Higher Sports Leadership Award. She plans to go travelling during a gap year before deciding on a university course for 2018.
Between them, the friends will achieve a wide range of A Level qualifications, including: History, Geography, Media Studies, Economics, Further Maths, Physics, Biology and English Language.
